Step 2 — Initial Consultation
Our GPhC-registered pharmacist will review your medical history, current medications, BMI and health goals. We discuss which medication suits you best and explain exactly how it works — no jargon, no rush.
Step 3 — Start Your Medication
If suitable, you begin on a low starting dose. We show you exactly how to administer your injection or take your tablet correctly before you leave.
Step 4 — Follow-Up Appointments
Regular follow-up appointments let us monitor your progress, manage any side effects, and increase your dose at the right pace for you.
Step 5 — Holistic Support Throughout
Alongside your medication we advise on nutrition, lifestyle and supplements to support your journey and help you maintain your results long term. This is what makes us different from an online clinic.
Am I Suitable?
You may be suitable if:
Your BMI is 30 or above
Your BMI is 27 or above with a weight-related health condition such as high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes or high cholesterol and sleep apnoea
You have tried lifestyle changes without achieving sufficient results
You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
You have no contraindications to GLP-1 medications
If after your consultation we determine the medication is not suitable for you, we will always be honest and explain why. Your safety comes first — always.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need a GP referral?
No — book directly with us online. No GP referral needed.
How quickly will I see results?
Most patients notice reduced appetite within the first few weeks. Meaningful weight loss typically begins within 4–8 weeks of starting treatment. Results vary from person to person.
Are there any side effects?
The most common side effects are nausea, constipation and mild digestive discomfort — particularly when starting or increasing your dose. These usually settle within a few weeks. Our pharmacist will advise you on how to manage them at every appointment.
Can I use these medications if I have Type 2 diabetes?
Mounjaro in particular can be very beneficial for patients with Type 2 diabetes as it also helps regulate blood sugar. Our pharmacist will assess your full medical history at your consultation.
What if the medication is not suitable for me?
We will be honest with you. If you are not suitable we will explain why and discuss what alternatives may help. We never prescribe something that is not right for you.
How long will I need to take the medication?
This varies from person to person. Some patients use weight management medication as a short term kickstart alongside lifestyle changes. Others benefit from longer term use. We discuss this with you at every appointment.
What if I miss a dose?
If you miss a weekly injection, take it as soon as you remember — as long as your next scheduled dose is at least 2 days away. If it is closer than that, skip the missed dose and continue your regular schedule. Never take two doses at once. Call us if unsure.
Do you offer nutritional and supplement advice alongside medication?
Yes — this is a key part of our service. We take a holistic approach and advise on nutrition and supplements throughout your journey. This is something an online clinic simply cannot offer.
Is there a cancellation policy?
Yes — we require at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Deposits are forfeited for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or no-show.
